Good news in the fight against maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT): The disease has been eliminated in Sudan and South Sudan — a significant public health milestone!
Kiwanis has been proud to support UNICEF’s efforts to eliminate MNT worldwide since 2010. Through extensive vaccination and education campaigns, this painful and deadly disease has now been eliminated in 51 of 59 priority countries.
Strike up the band! The Kiwanis Club of Messina Zancle, Italy, worked with the Aosta Brigade Band to create a playroom for kids in the parish of Santa Maria Immacolata di Contesse. Club members worked hard to turn the playroom into a fun place full of games, books and more. #KidsNeedKiwanis
